Built by Hand. Made to Last.
Custom copper lighting crafted with intension, precision, and respect for tradional methods.
A Different Approach to Lighting

At St. James Lighting, we believe lighting should do more than illuminate a space. It should enhance architecture, create atmosphere, and stand the test of time.
We specialize in handcrafted copper lanterns and custom lighting, built using traditional fabrication techniques that prioritize quality over speed. Every fixture is made to order, ensuring it fits the space it was designed for.

Built by Hand, Not Mass Produced
Every piece we create starts as raw material and is shaped, assembled, and finished by hand. Copper is cut, bent, and formed individually. Rivets are set by hand. Seams are carefully joined using high-temperature torch work, a process that requires both precision and experience.
Because of this, no two fixtures are exactly alike. Subtle variations are not flaws—they are a reflection of true craftsmanship.
We do not use molds or shortcuts. Our process is slower, but it produces lighting that is stronger, more durable, and built to last.

Why We Work With Copper

Copper is one of the most durable and time-tested materials in lighting. It does not rust, and over time it develops a natural patina that adds depth and character.
This aging process is part of what makes copper lighting unique. Each piece evolves with its environment, creating a look that cannot be replicated with factory finishes.
